Master Physics and Mathematics with a theoretical physics Specialist from Germany

Hey, I’m Liam! I’m currently finishing my Master’s degree in Physics, specializing in Theoretical Physics and Quantum Computing, and I aim to pursue a PhD afterwards. I am based in Germany, but I happily work with students worldwide. I’m familiar with the curricula of both the United States and the United Kingdom, which allows me to effectively support students from different educational systems. I’ve worked as a private tutor for over a year and as a teaching assistant for university-level physics courses. I have experience teaching mechanics, thermodynamics, quantum physics, and mathematics, including Calculus I–III and Linear Algebra. I’ve helped students both prepare for university and succeed during their studies by building strong conceptual understanding, improving analytical thinking, and gaining confidence when tackling challenging material in exams, homework, and coursework.

My teaching approach is student-centered and concept-driven. I focus on developing a deep understanding of why physical laws work, rather than relying on memorization alone. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style, ensuring that complex topics are broken down into clear, logical steps. I often use numerical simulations and visual tools to make abstract concepts easier to grasp, especially in areas such as mechanics, electromagnetism, and quantum physics. By translating equations into concrete behavior, students gain stronger intuition and long-term understanding. Additionally, I actively identify weak areas in a student’s knowledge and address them systematically. By strengthening foundations and reinforcing key ideas, I help students build confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and perform better in exams, assignments, and long-term academic work.
