My name is Maya Turner, and for the past 5 years, I've had the rewarding experience of guiding 150 students on their academic careers. My passion for education and tutoring students stems from a desire that originated from my childhood and also to help be a catalyst to learners' growth in understanding the multitude of concepts present in the subject of mathematics. Leveraging my background in Engineering for which I have B.Sc degree from the university of Ohio State, I can provide strong instruction in mathematics, while also offering support in mechaincal engineering and Revit. Outside of tutoring, I find myself drawn to listening to music and podcasts, which I believe fosters a well-rounded perspective that I integrate into my teaching approach.
