Hello, my name is Rashmeet Kaur. I am a passionate and dedicated mathematics educator with over 3–4 years of teaching experience. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, which has given me a strong analytical foundation and a clear understanding of both theoretical and applied mathematics. I have experience teaching students from middle school to senior secondary levels across various curricula, including CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB, and British curriculum. My core teaching areas include algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and applied mathematics. I strongly believe that mathematics becomes easy and enjoyable when concepts are taught with clarity and real-life connections. Teaching mathematics has been a deeply fulfilling and transformative journey for me. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to work with students from diverse academic backgrounds, age groups, and curricula. I believe that every student can learn mathematics when concepts are explained clearly, patiently, and in a way that matches their learning style. My primary goal is not just to help students solve problems, but to help them understand the logic behind those problems and apply it independently. 1. Understanding the Student First I begin by assessing the student’s current level of understanding through informal questions, short diagnostic tests, or discussion. This helps me identify their strengths, weak areas, learning pace, and attitude toward mathematics. 2. Conceptual Clarity over Rote Learning I focus strongly on conceptual understanding rather than memorization of formulas. 3. Step-by-Step Explanation I break complex problems into simple, logical steps. 4. Interactive and Engaging Teaching My classes are highly interactive. I ask guiding questions, encourage students to think aloud, and involve them in solving problems during the session . 5. Use of Real-Life Examples Whenever possible, I relate mathematical concepts to real-life situations so that students can see their practical relevance . 6. Regular Practice and Reinforcement Practice is an essential part of my teaching methodology. After explaining a concept, I provide graded practice problems—starting from basic and gradually moving to advanced levels.
