Empathetic Maths educator who uses real life examples to make Mathematics simple for all

Hello! My name is Kudzanai Dzindimu and I have been teaching the Mathematics for more than 10 years. For me, Maths is not just numbers on a page but it is a way to understand the world. I believe that the logic of Mathematics is a universal language that we can all speak together. I specialise in Calculus, Algebra and Trigonometry. These subjects are the building blocks of science and engineering. My goal is to make these "difficult" topics feel simple and exciting for every student. My classes are engaging, practical and collaborative. Over the last decade, I have helped many students overcome their fear of Maths. I focus on patience and clear steps. I know how it feels to learn something new in a second language, so I am very careful to explain every concept clearly. I don't just want you to pass an exam but I want you to see the logic and beauty in every equation we solve.

My teaching methodology is based on the idea that Maths is a visual language we all can understand. In my ten years of experience, I see that many students are afraid of big words in Calculus or Algebra. Because I am not a native English speaker, I teach by showing, not just talking. I start every lesson by drawing the idea so students can see the logic with their eyes. I use simple and clear words to explain difficult steps so that everyone stays together. I follow a "we do it together" style. First, I show how a concept works in real life. Then, we solve many problems as a team. This builds the student’s confidence. I focus on the "why" behind the Maths, not just memorising. I am very patient because I know how it feels to learn something difficult in another language. My goal is to make my classroom a comfortable place where students feel brave enough to ask questions and learn from their mistakes
