Hi, this is Anju Kanwar, I have 7 years of experience in teaching Mathematics online and offline as well. I completed my Masters of Mathematics degree in 2016 and Bachelor of Education degree in 2020. I try to teach the students basis on their learning needs. I do use math games, visual aids etc. to make learning easy. I do believe in practice as much as we can. I demonstrated expertise in designing well-structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives. Skilled in creating worksheets, practice exercises, assessments, and real-world application problems that strengthen conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization. Regularly incorporate step-by-step explanations, visual aids, graphs, and practical examples to support varied learning styles and improve student comprehension. I am comfortable using both traditional teaching methods and digital tools to enhance instruction.

I do believe in student-centered and concept-based teaching approach to ensure deep understanding of mathematical principles. I think we should begin each topic by assessing students’ prior knowledge and clearly stating learning objectives. Introduce new concepts using simple language, real-life examples, and visual representations to make abstract ideas more relatable and meaningful. I like to use a variety of teaching aids such as charts, graphs, models, and digital tools to address different learning styles. Incorporate worksheets, problem-solving sessions, and interactive activities to promote active participation and sustained engagement. Adjust teaching pace and strategies based on individual student needs and learning abilities. Focus on developing strong foundational skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities rather than rote memorization. I do create a positive, disciplined, and encouraging classroom environment that motivates students to ask questions, take risks, and develop a positive attitude toward mathematics.
