Iryna - Get to know your vocal coach
I am a vocal coach with several years of experience teaching mainly one-to-one singing lessons, as well as small group sessions, for children, teenagers and adults. I have worked in two vocal schools in Kyiv and later founded my own school “Tviy Zvook”, where I created personalised lesson plans based on each student’s level, goals and music taste. In my lessons I focus on healthy vocal technique (breath control, support, pitch, tone, range, dynamics) and also on confidence and musical expression. I use modern methods such as Complete Vocal Technique and Estill-inspired tools, but always explain everything in simple, practical language. I have experience preparing students for concerts, competitions and recordings, and I always try to create a warm, safe and motivating atmosphere where every student feels heard and supported.
Iryna graduated from Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (Poltava, Ukraine)

Singing lessons highlights
My teaching methodology is based on a clear structure and a safe, supportive atmosphere. A typical lesson starts with a short 3–5 minute chat to check how the student feels and what they want to focus on that day. Then we do a gentle vocal warm-up, move to targeted technical exercises, and finally apply everything to songs or other musical material the student loves. I teach using Complete Vocal Technique (CVT): we work with support, the four modes, sound colour and twang in a very practical way. I explain the technique in simple language and always show with my own voice, so the student can copy and feel the difference in their body. I adapt the pace to each person, whether they are a complete beginner or already experienced. For me, the emotional connection with the student is very important. I want them to feel that they can make mistakes, laugh, experiment and still be respected. When a student is not afraid to sound “imperfect”, real progress becomes possible, both technically and emotionally.
