Spanish classes highlights
My teaching method always starts with listening and getting to know my students before any teaching starts. How can I expect a student to listen to me if I don't listen to them? Typically, I would start with a basic exam to understand where a student's proficiency is. From there, I construct lesson plans based on a student's proficiency level so the lesson would push the student to learn more to get to the next level. As I teach a student, I always take note on what types of teaching helps them the most (Ie, visual, auditorial, or some combination of both). Another important concept I uses as a teacher is getting to know a student's personal interests. As a teacher, i like to incorporate students' personal interests in the lesson plans. It makes the material more engaging and fun for the students. Nowadays keeping a students attention for a prolonged period of time can be difficult. I have found that incorporating a student's interest can keep them engaged for longer.
