I come from a classical piano background and now play with a singer-songwriter focus. My teaching style honors both classical foundations and stylistic innovation for those students who want to explore composition and songwriting. I engage students in interactive online learning experiences using a variety of tools such as live-scroll chord charts, interactive sheet music and online quiz platforms such as Quizlet for memorization of theoretical concepts and vocabulary.
