Sonali - Know your tutor
I am Sonali Suri, a committed and student-focused Mathematics educator with 4 years of teaching experience across international curricula, including IB, IGCSE, and other global boards. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of differentiated learning needs and have consistently worked to create an engaging, inclusive, and concept-driven learning environment for my students. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that Mathematics becomes meaningful when learners connect concepts to real-life situations. I strive to simplify complex ideas through visual models, interactive activities, and step-by-step breakdowns that promote clarity and confidence. Whether teaching algebra, geometry, statistics, or higher-order problem-solving, I ensure that students not only learn the methods but also understand the reasoning behind them. I actively incorporate digital tools, inquiry-based learning, and continuous assessment strategies to support deeper understanding and track student progress. My lessons are structured to promote critical thinking, creativity, and logical reasoning—skills that are essential for both academic success and real-world application. Working with international boards has strengthened my ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse cultural and academic expectations. I prioritize strong communication, timely feedback, and a growth mindset, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning and view challenges as opportunities to improve. As an educator, my goal is not only to help learners achieve strong results but also to cultivate within them a lasting appreciation for Mathematics. Let's embark on this math journey together !

Class overview
My teaching of Mathalogy is guided by a clear and consistent belief: every child can learn Mathematics with understanding, confidence, and joy when the learning process is structured thoughtfully and delivered with clarity. Mathalogy is more than a curriculum—it is a purposeful framework that ensures students grow mathematically in a connected, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate manner. Through my experience, I have seen how powerful this approach can be in helping learners strengthen conceptual foundations and become independent problem-solvers. In conclusion, teaching Mathalogy allows me to combine structured learning, conceptual clarity, creativity, and student-centered strategies into one cohesive approach. It empowers students to understand, analyze, and apply Mathematics confidently. My goal is to help every learner experience success in Maths and develop skills that go far beyond the classroom—skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

Mathematics concepts taught by Sonali
The Student and Tutor reviewed calculus concepts including the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, area calculations using geometric shapes, and the difference between A(x) and A'(x). The Student practiced applying these concepts to problems involving integrals, derivatives, and graphs. No specific homework was assigned, but the Student was encouraged to review the concepts and practice similar problems.
