Thank you for considering me to instruct you in the ways of music and the magic it holds! I am not only an instructor who lives & breathes music, but I’m also an avid performer with experience in guitar piano, bass as well as multiple different vocal disciplines and I really prioritize making learning a fun & rewarding experience for both of us whether you’re just beginning scales or diving into modality and more advanced chord theory or just wanna learn your favorite songs! You can expect friendly, well paced, empathetic, & engaging interactions while I help you achieve whichever goals you may have whether it be learning how to perform professionally, a general hobby or just understanding what makes music work and how you can integrate that into your life! I strive to make music accessible for anybody from any background and any level of understanding music can be as simple or as complex as you would like it to be and it all depends upon your approach and what your intentions are if you just want to be a campfire strummer, then we can teach you how to play every simple open chord in the book or if you want to be able to do some of your own composing, then learning harmony and chord function will suit you well, I’m also a left-handed player so many of my students find it convenient that watching me play is like seeing themselves play in a mirror. I also believe that kindness and patience is one of the most important things to lead with in any educational setting as it is very important that you feel that you can be comfortable and trust me with learning how to better yourself with your instrument & build your confidence to play with emotion
