India - Get to know your vocal coach
Hi there! I am a 23 year old singing teacher who is currently also an SEND teaching assistant, who studied French horn in my 4 years at the Royal Birmingham conservatoire. Prior to this, I have studied at the Royal Northern College of music every Saturday. However, before Holy Cross, I studied at Chethams School of music for 4 years as a chorister and horn player. These 4 years would entail of studying, performing and training 7 days a week, 5 days of which would include even-song performances at Manchester cathedral, which also led to experience with radio/tv performances and audio recordings. I have experience working as a Piano teacher at Yamaha Music School based in Burton Upon Trent, teaching a broad age range of pupils from grades 1-8. This was alongside pursuing my degree and was a great experience and am looking forward to hopefully being able to share my passion for music further at wiingy!

Singing lessons highlights
Here’s a ~700-character paragraph describing your teaching style: I make it fun to learn by blending solid vocal technique with a wacky, joyful energy that helps students relax and explore their voices with confidence. My teaching style is kind and patient, giving every singer the space to grow at their own pace while we laugh, experiment, and celebrate each small win. Whether we’re tackling tricky notes or playing with creative exercises, I keep the atmosphere light, supportive, and a little quirky—because singing should always feel like an adventure, not a chore. Here’s an expanded version, still keeping it around the same length and tone: I make it fun to learn by mixing solid vocal technique with a wacky, joyful energy that helps students feel free to explore their voices. My teaching style is kind and patient, giving every singer room to grow at their own pace while we laugh, experiment, and celebrate every breakthrough—big or small. I love using creative, slightly quirky exercises that turn challenges into playful discoveries, keeping lessons light, supportive, and full of encouragement. With me, singing becomes an adventure where confidence grows, curiosity is welcome, and every voice gets the chance to shine.
