Supportive Chemical Engineering tutor with adaptable lessons

My name is Jane Philip and I have 8 years of experience teaching students science concepts, mostly pertaining to the Chemistry section. I possess a PhD in chemistry from the university of Virginia. Since my childhood, I have admired teachers as they have taught me a lot of the life lessons that I implement in my daily life today. That is why I took up teaching as a profession. Apart from this, I am also very interested in reading books and listening to various genres of music. I aim to improve the educational society and help inspire the next generation just like how the previous generation inspired me.

Chemistry just like the other facets of science, require methodical and exercise-based learning. That is why my teaching methodology will try to adhere to those principles and tackle the intricacies in a structured and revisionary method. I will go over the main concepts of the subject and make sure to let the student know of the important aspects that the student can revise later on. I will conduct quizzes and activities to foster active participation and gain an understanding of the students strength and weaknesses. I will provide self-study tips to the student for them to utilize outside the classes.
