Rose - Get to know your vocal coach
I’m Rose Leon, a Peruvian soprano and Bachelor of Music graduate from Kent State University, where I specialized in Classical Singing and vocal performance. My background as both a performer and an educator shapes my teaching style—classically focused, caring and patient, meeting my students where they are. I love helping students discover how enjoyable singing can be, always encouraging them to keep learning and growing; I believe in what Maestro Pavarotti once said, “We are eternal students." I’m passionate about healthy vocal habits, musicality, and helping each student connect with their unique sound, so whether you’re starting from zero or refining your technique, I work to create a supportive, encouraging space where you can grow with confidence. Outside of teaching, I enjoy learning new languages, exploring different cultures and traditions, discovering new music, writing poetry, reading, and cooking desserts!
