I’m Hayat Fatima. I have Masters degree in Mathematics and over 8 years of experience as a Maths teacher. Teaching is my passion—I believe learning should be fun, meaningful, and full of curiosity. With years of experience teaching Mathematics and other subjects, I always aim to make concepts simple and relatable through activities, games, and real-life examples. My goal is to help every student believe in their potential, ask questions confidently, and enjoy learning. In my class, mistakes are welcome, effort is valued, and every student matters. I begin each topic by connecting it to real-life situations—for example, using pizzas to explain fractions or shopping examples to teach percentages. This helps students see Maths as part of everyday life and not just numbers on paper. I focus on conceptual understanding before formulas. I explain why a rule works, not just how to apply it. Through visual aids, drawings, and simple examples, students build a strong foundation. I follow a step-by-step approach—starting with basics, checking understanding through short questions, and gradually moving to advanced problems. To make classes interactive, I use games, puzzles, and group activities so students learn with interest. I also apply Bloom’s Taxonomy by encouraging students to analyse and apply concepts through real examples and experiments. I create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I motivate them with appreciation and constructive feedback.
