Mark - Get to know your vocal coach
Hello! My name is Mark DeWulf, and I will hopefully be your new vocal coach! I offer a variety of options for learning styles and have training in music theory, ear training, composition aspects, and stage performances from ancient music to modernist pieces! I take much pride in my education and training after years of hard work and dedication, and want to actively give the same tools to as many students as I can! I also have a solid comprehensive knowledge of music history including it's sociological impact, among other facets that may help with learning the materials and maintaining a healthy enthusiasm for musical application and study! Please do not be afraid to ask me anything, and I genuinely look forward to working together hand in hand to meet your personalized goals! Thank you for considering me, and I am excited to meet soon!

Singing lessons highlights
I approach every student uniquely in order to understand their needs, goals, and history to better teach them and help them grow. I am incredibly patient and would consider myself more of a listener in lessons, where I will step in and assist when asked to instead of attempting to control the reigns as some instructors have to me in the past. I have taught all ages from 4 to 86 as my oldest student yet and can provide adaptability and flexibility when it comes to styles and structures. My biggest teaching philosophy is that: "Anything can be learnt when approached with enthusiasm and a positive mindset"; and I take pride in that ideology because it is very true after personal trial and error. I also accept diversity and new repertoire as it also gives me a new thing to learn as well. I am also human and hungry to learn and very excited to hear the differing opinions, perspectives, and beautiful music you bring in for us to work on!
