Enthusiastic former teacher who is ready to get back to science. Only 2 months out of the classroom.

My name is Joel Manzano, current assistant softball coach, former teacher for 4 years. I was a Biology/Anatomy and Physiology teacher through the year guiding students through all sorts of learning experiences. I would love to tutor in science because as I have switch careers, the love for teaching others science still radiates. Tutoring is something I have always been looking to do especially with the spare time after switching careers. From A and P topics to DNA and photosynthesis, I am here to help all science problems. A coach with a degree in Bio, my expertise include microbio, bioethics and genetics. I specialize in lab skills and coming from the teaching background, I am able to assist all different learning types. I am a student oriented tutor working to get the best out of each students. I am able to cater to all special needs and disabilities.

My tutoring methods are coming directly from a background as a former science teacher. I am a teacher who loves real work applications, projects and labs. I love to make science interactive, fun and engaging. Science is a tool that can be used world wide and for times to come. As a former science teacher, I am here for all differentiated learning styles as well as those with special needs. I would like to be supportive and accountable through the students meeting their goals. My tools range from varios teaching techniques, tech programs and lab material. Specialization include cell biology, micro bio, genetics, and photosynthesis. We can range from old teaching techniques to the newest ones coming that I am only a couple months out of teaching. I am able to follow a curriculum catered for elementary, middle school, high schoolers or even college.
