Hi! My name is Anna Buescher and I am a singing tutor with over 13 years of singing experience. I studied Theatre and Vocal Performance at Denison University. Growing up, I had the opportunity to sing with the Cleveland Orchestra Children's and Youth Choruses. I continued voice training in college and have honed my skills into Musical Theatre, Pop, Classical and Jazz singing. I have taken many music theory courses and can also help you with any sight singing for any auditions or just in general! My online classroom is a judgment free space! I have been in your shoes! It is hard to sing in front of someone you do not know well or even in front of your best friend. Even if you have never sung before but just want to learn, I am here to guide you along the way! Singing is my absolute favorite thing in the whole world! I hope we can make some music together!

My tutoring approach is fully catered to the learner! I will never have you sing or do something you are not comfortable with. While it is always good to push yourself to see what you can accomplish, you will get to decide what you sing and I really want to hear about how I can best help you! With each lesson we will start with warming up our voices and checking in to ensure that we are taking care of our voices. Then, you can decide on a song you want to sing, or I can also provide you with song choices as I get to know your voice. If you would like more structure in your lessons I can absolutely provide that as well! I can play the piano so I can accompany you as you sing. If you decide that I am a good fit for what you are looking for in a teacher, then we will start with breathing techniques to ensure that you start with support in your diaphragm. It is very important to make sure that you are singing correctly and not hurting your voice!
