Singing lessons highlights

My approach to teaching is very individually focused. I absolutely cover the most basic and essential of the fundamentals of vocals, often bringing attention back to these core roots as you advance and not only explain, but demonstrate along with you why they are so fundamental. I get involved , with breathing exercises, vowel pronunciation, phrasing, pitch, melody so you will never feel alone in the process! I even utilize keyboards or guitars as a tool for theory, playing a melody to accompany and teach/shape vocal techniques to follow along with the instrument. I make sure I ask YOU, the student, what you want to learn and accomplish and I provide you with tools to help you reach success towards that goal, one session at a time! You will always feel motivated and inspired to reach your goal and challenge yourself. I like to Tailor lessons to your interest so not only do you learn and grow, you have fun while doing it!

The session focused on improving the student's screaming techniques for both high and low registers, emphasizing muscle isolation and breath control. The student practiced exercises to differentiate and control the muscles used in each type of scream, working towards a cleaner and more powerful sound. As homework, the student was assigned to practice adding syllables to screams and experimenting with dynamic control in clean singing, with a plan to address rasp techniques in the next lesson.
