Hello there! I’m Jerzy Gillon, a classically trained vocalist with a Master’s degree in Classical Voice Performance and over four years of private teaching experience. I currently teach voice at the university level as well as with a community music school, and I love helping singers of all backgrounds discover their unique sound. While my foundation is in classical technique, I also specialize in popular and musical theatre styles. I actively perform in both classical and contemporary settings myself! My lessons focus on building healthy, versatile vocal technique that can adapt to any genre, while keeping things engaging and personalized to your goals. I’m also a bit of a music history buff and love weaving in fun facts or historical insights about the pieces we work on, if that’s something you enjoy! Whether you’re preparing for auditions, looking to strengthen your voice, or just want to sing for fun, I’d love to help you grow as a confident and expressive singer.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and centered on helping each student discover their unique voice with confidence. I emphasize understanding the physiological aspects of singing and how breath, resonance, and muscle coordination work together, so you can identify the sensations that lead to healthy, consistent results. Lessons are fully tailored to your goals and current level, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced singer. I meet you where you are and guide you forward at a comfortable, sustainable pace while keeping things engaging and creative. I primarily teach through Zoom and WhatsApp, which provide excellent audio quality for accurate feedback and real-time technical correction. Learning to sing can be vulnerable, and I believe that when students feel safe and supported, both their voices and their confidence can truly flourish.
