Hi, My name’s Droshum and I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology scoring 2:1. My GCSE and Alevels grades were exceptional, and I’ve been tutoring/teaching Science, English and Maths at both GCSE level and Alevels since 2019 now. All my students have always bagged not only exceptional academic grades but have also seen me as their mentor. I provide with tailored resources to revise each concept and then mock tests are given according to the board examination the student is appearing in. Regular feedback is provided to the parents and I track the progress of my students through a structured portal. I;m not only patient with my students but also use comprehensive tools for science such as 3D learning models, study flashcards, important keywords and tips to revise and score well. I also provide answer samples and exam style questions for practice

I'm extremely passionate and dedicated to teaching and I believe in making lessons fun and engaging for my students. To make learning effective, I not only work as a teacher for my students but also as their mentor. We build a safe, comfortable learning environment where with open communication of academic strengths and weaknesses, we overcome the challenges. I also have vast experience in working with students who have had adhd, dyslexia, autism or visual/hearing impairment. I use online whiteboard to help explain diagrams and power point presentations for each chapter/keytopic. Furthermore, I use 5E Model for my teaching where I correlate book knowledge with real life exams and also include strategies such as think-pair-share, self assessment, or highlighting/self annotating key notes and then discussing them during class.
