Joao - Your piano teacher

Hello everyone My name is Joao, and I have over a decade of experience performing and giving music lessons. Alongside my master’s degrees in architecture and my formal piano training at a conservatory, I also developed my skills as a self-taught bass player, allowing me to approach music from both a structured and creative perspective. Currently, I play both keyboard and bass in a Toronto-based band, gaining valuable live performance experience that I bring directly into my teaching. Let’s embark on the amazing journey of learning a new musical instrument together! I welcome students of all ages, from beginner to intermediate level—you're never too old to learn! It doesn’t matter if you have zero experience or if you just want to learn a couple of songs to play at your next family Christmas party and be the star of the night. We can tailor a specific program designed just for you and your goals. I offer piano lessons in two different languages to better adapt to your needs: English and Portuguese. I am fully fluent in both. Let’s get in touch and schedule your next lesson. I look forward to helping you grow and enjoy music! I’m happy to answer any questions and guide you every step of the way.
