Joao - Know your guitar teacher
Hello, Do you want to rock that bass? I might be able to help you achieve just that! My name is Joao, and I have over a decade of experience performing and teaching music. Alongside my master’s degrees in architecture and formal piano studies at a conservatory, I developed my bass guitar skills, building a strong and versatile musical foundation. Currently, I perform as a bass and keyboard player in a Toronto-based band, bringing real-world stage experience directly into my lessons. Let’s embark on the amazing journey of learning a musical instrument together! I welcome students of all ages—you’re never too old to start. Whether you have zero experience or just want to learn a few songs to play at your next family gathering, I can create a program tailored specifically to your goals and interests. From classic and alternative rock to metal, I’ll help you grow as a bassist, whether for playing in a band or simply enjoying music at home. I offer beginner bass lessons in both English and Portuguese, and I’m fluent in both. Let’s connect and schedule your next lesson! I’m happy to answer any questions you may have and help you get started. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
