Collaborative Trigonometry tutor with creative problem-solving strategies

My name is Elena Ramos and I am a Math graduate with the knowledge, enthusiasm, and experience to tutor Algebra, ACT, and AP Calculus. I possess a PhD in mathematics from the University of Florida and have 5 years of teaching experience. I love the subject of Mathematics, specifically Algebra. The concept never fails to intrigue me and I always learn something new every time I study it. Apart from tutoring, I also have hands-on research experience in this field and I would love to share that experience with enthusiastic learners.

AP Calculus is a mountain that cannot be scaled through rote learning. This is something that students only realize after their exams. To correct this way of thinking, I will show students what can be achieved if a proper teaching methodology is followed. My teaching methodology involves going through concepts that the student has trouble understanding. I will give students lots of problem-solving practice to help get them acquainted with the subject. Along with that, I will also give students tips and tricks to help them better their exam-taking skills. I will also provide constant feedback and support to ensure continuous growth.
