I'm Jose Santis, a Bachelors-educated music tutor with over 15 years of experience offering specialized music lessons. My passion lies in teaching a wide array of music genres like blues, jazz, pop, rock, contemporary; with my favorite being Latin & Spanish music, as well as contemporary Worship & Gospel music. I play several instruments (guitar, bass, uke, piano & drums) and provide expert level music lessons in Music Theory, Composition, Live Performance, Sight Reading & Ear Training. My students range at all levels, from kids to adults. Whether you're into mainstream music, flamenco/classical or anything in between, I tailor each session to enhance your skills. Specializing in Songwriting, Music Composition, Music Theory and more, I use a variety of tech tools like online platforms and interactive software to enhance the learning experience. Additionally, I can read & write standard notation and am well versed in all traditional practices of music such as is used in the Royal Conservatory methods. The session focused on electric guitar techniques, including palm muting, pinch harmonics and learning riffs from the songs "Zombie" and "Iron Man". The Student practiced hammer-ons, pull-offs and alternate picking. The Tutor assigned the Student to work on the solo from "Psychosocial", as well as songs covered during the class.
