Zak - Know your guitar teacher
I’m Zak, and I love teaching guitar. I’m here to listen to you, seek to understand where you’re at in the instrument, help you achieve your goals and create a vision for where you want to be next in the world of guitar. I’m solely here to help you along the way. My focus is on your development and where you see yourself being with guitar. I can teach any form of the instrument, whether it be acoustic or electric, shredding or campfire chords. I’ve been teaching for just over 4 years now and have valuable experience teaching all age ranges from 6 years old to 78. There’s no lesson too small, no goal too grand, and certainly no age limit to what you’re capable of! It’s all a matter of dedication, consistency in practicing, and developing your skill. I don’t believe degrees are everything, but it’s in the raw experience where it counts. I have a diploma in Guitar & Music, and Business: Marketing and Finance, and neither mean anything. I have over 5 years of experience in live performances, sound and audio production, album creation, writing music, and much more. No teacher can teach guitar without first understanding their student, their strengths and weaknesses, and going from there. I cater to your individual learning style and can help explain concepts in ways that you would best understand, there is plenty that I don’t know, and we can learn together! Thank you for your time, and I hope we can start lessons soon. :) -Zak Keele, no AI was used

Guitar lessons quick guide
I’m Zak, and just like getting to know me, I love teaching guitar. I’m here to listen to you, seek to understand where you’re at in the instrument, help you achieve your goals and create a vision for where you want to be next in the world of guitar. I’m solely here to help you along the way. No teacher can teach guitar without first understanding their student, their strengths and weaknesses, and going from there. I cater to your individual learning style and can help explain concepts in ways that you would best understand. I start out with getting a full scope of your current skill and knowledge in the instrument, and within the first lesson you’ll have a great, healthy set of goals as well as a deeper understanding of what you have available in your guitarsenal. The first four lessons of working one on one with be developing a comfortable learning pace and figuring out where you’re at, your level of passion, and so on and so forth. After the first four is guaranteed to show a great improvement in your skill and understanding of the instrument. I can teach with guitar tablature, chord diagrams, ear training, and provide you with plenty of tools such as understanding of amps, amp settings, and much more. I look forward to our first lesson together, let’s do music!

The session covered the concepts of direct versus indirect guitar playing, focusing on how both contribute to skill development and ear training. The student was advised to incorporate regular "noodling" into their practice to promote a flow state and improve fretboard familiarity. The student plans to work on exercises from Andrew Clark and present progress at the next lesson.
