Dino - Your piano teacher
Hello! I'm Dino Sordilla, a versatile, well experienced musician and piano instructor with many years of experience playing in front of people and working with music students. I'm classically trained, but have played various styles including radio hits to musical theater and even worship music--which is what I concentrate on now. In 2000, I started out teaching in my students' homes. But when Covid-19 started, I branched out to teaching remote lessons. With two Bachelor's degrees majored in Music and Business, I proudly offer piano lessons tailored to students of all ages, technical abilities, and musical interests. On Wiingy, I focus teaching adults. My piano lessons integrate music theory, music history, student recitals, and a little about the music and recording industry. Whether you are learning to read notes, curious about chord charts, or interested in the classics, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. Let's embark on this music journey together and make some music!!

Piano lessons at a glance
Since 2001, I have offered engaging, laid back piano lessons to many students regardless of age or proficiency level. If you are a young beginner, we start from very elementary concepts such as high and low notes, soft and loud sounds. I explain the three ways to learn music: by rote, by ear, and by reading music. Utilizing piano methods such as Alfred and Piano Pronto, I teach students how to read notes on the staff, how to recognize the keys on the keyboard, and we progress to more advanced concepts from there. I also incorporate a variety of composers/arrangers who write music especially for young keyboard players and I utilize sources of new music for students who, after awhile, may want to stray away from their method books. And, of course, I teach Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms too. Schedule a demo with me and I will do what it takes to help you excel in your music journey.
