Cecilie - your physics tutor
Embarking on the journey of tutoring physics both online and offline for the past seven years has been both a rewarding and enlightening experience. This endeavor has offered me the opportunity to engage with students from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of understanding, helping them conquer challenges and develop a deep appreciation for the subject. In the initial years, my focus was primarily on offline tutoring. This traditional method allowed for a direct and personal interaction with students, providing the ability to gauge their immediate reactions and adapt my teaching style accordingly. With the advent of digital technology, I gradually transitioned into online tutoring. This shift was driven by the need to reach a broader audience and adapt to modern learning preferences. One of the most important aspects of my tutoring approach is creating personalized learning plans for each student. These plans are based on their individual needs, strengths, and areas for improvement. This personalized attention ensures that students not only achieve their academic goals but also develop a genuine interest in physics.

One of the key components of my teaching style in physics is the use of practical examples. By relating complex physics concepts to everyday situations, students can better understand and retain the information. For instance, when discussing Newton's laws of motion, I might use examples such as a car accelerating on a highway or a ball being thrown in the air. These tangible scenarios help demystify abstract theories and make them more accessible. Interactive sessions are another key component of my teaching style. My sessions encourage active participation and foster a collaborative learning environment. By engaging students in discussions, problem-solving activities, and hands-on experiments, they become active participants in their learning journey rather than passive recipients of information. I also incorporate recaps and open discussions into my teaching strategy, this way I can create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. By reviewing key concepts and encouraging dialogue, students tend to engage more effectively and thereby promoting a deeper understanding of the material.
