I’m Ayo Ukpong, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 5 years professional experience as an engineer. I have a passion for teaching and like to use fresh and innovative ways of learning especially as I use maths and logic daily in my profession. Despite less than a year of teaching experience, I will create adaptable and specialised learning plans to suit your needs. Utilising different teaching techniques to ensure understanding, assimilation and solving of math problems. I cater to students from elementary to college, making Maths engaging and understandable ensuring my students are set up for success. Specialising in Algebra, Calculus, Geometry and Statistics. I also address special needs with empathy and expertise. Let’s explore Maths together, unravelling the mysteries and acing those tests together.

My interaction revolves around interactive methods incorporating practice drill, test simulations utilising different teaching techniques. I have used these techniques previously: Collaborative learning: learning with peers, incorporating peer to peer teaching and learning, Visualisation: using visual aids like blocks, pictures, moving images to bring numbers to life, and Technology enhanced learning: using websites like Khan Academy, Geogebra, Maths Genie to help with practice and lesson. To create and engaging lesson, I use platforms like Zoom, Teams and Google classroom. I’m also open to other platforms more accessible to the student. I create and follow a comprehensive plan that aligns with school curriculum ensuring a personalised experience. My methods focus on building confidence in students to excel at the academic pursuits
