Hello! I am a classically trained vocalist with a diverse background in singing most genres of music. I love to take the knowledge that I have gained through my own training and experience and help others to learn how to breathe correctly, sing correctly, and expand their range, diversity, and skill as a singer! I want you to not only find your unique voice, but learn how to use it in many different ways, and with the ability to have endurance and stamina as a vocalist. Proper training and technique can help you learn how to sing in a way that is resonant, projects, but without damaging your vocal chords. Keeping the vocal chords safe and healthy is a high priority of mine. Additionally, I stress the importance of breathing techniques, and help educate you on the basics of music theory/reading. Whether you want to learn classical, musical theatre, rock, pop, country, folk, jazz, blues, Gospel, or CCM I am here to help!

My teaching style emphasizes breathing, resonance, and sound placement. I want you to sing what you know, like, and what is going to work with your voice. I will help you choose songs, and work them to fine tune the technique and performance. We will vocalize, drill, and you may see some interesting and different exercises that you may not quite understand at first, but I assure you, are highly effective. I am only going to teach you the same techniques that I learned that worked for me. I don't want to change your voice, but I do want you to learn how to utilize it to its maximum potential. I will utilize primarily backing tracks, unless you play the piano or guitar and would like to work on the vocals for songs you are playing along to, or even wrote! I want the lessons to be fun, engaging, and worthwhile. It will bring me great joy to see you acheive new levels of success as a perfomer!
