I studied Music theory and Composition, earning an Associates Degree from Indian River State College in 2013, and also studied at the University of Central Florida. With a focus on Music Theory, Music Composition, Songwriting, Sight-Reading, Technique and Expression, I tailor lessons to your pace and style. Whether you're into Classical, Blues, Rock, Folk, Jazz, Hip Hop, Country or any genre, or wanting to learn an instrument (singing included), my expertise spans various music styles. From beginners to advanced learners, I work well with kids and adults alike, making music education a fun and enriching experience for you. I also offer a flexible schedule, doing my best to match whatever availability is easiest for my students to meet. I offer engaging and expressive lessons in music composition, songwriting, sight-reading, and music theory, as well as various instruments and singing/sight-singing. My teaching style is technique-focused and empathetic, meeting you at your level and breaking down seemingly advanced concepts into more understandable terms, and personalize my lessons specifically to meet each student's individual needs and requests for growth. I incorporate tools like music software and a virtual piano, to create interactive lessons. With a structured curriculum that is tailored to each individual request, I cater to a diverse audience of 20+ students, including adults and kids. My biggest strengths are in fostering creativity and musicality, instilling strong foundational skills, and nurturing a deeper understanding of music.
