I have been singing and competing professionally since I entered Elementary all the way to now! Upon my collegiate experience pursuing my Bachelors in Music Education, I have presented in two statewide Music Conferences and have also won an international singing competition based out of Germany, let alone held multiple singing contract through various organizations. I have performed in professional opera companies, musical theatre companies, as a wedding singer, and also as a Section Leader in both church and community choirs. My strengths as an educator is teaching Music Theory/Musical Literacy, building the foundation of singing technique through breath and tone, and taking classical technique to fit whatever genre you want to sing! I hold over 6 years of certification and experience teaching ages 4-23, no age is too little or big. My teaching style incorporates kinesthetic teaching, body mapping, and utilizes various "home" object/items as tools to help us achieve your desired sound.

I specialize in teaching singing, with vocal technique stemming from a classical/musical theatre perspective. In the end of the day, all the foundational technique is the same between pop, classical, musical theatre, etc. I teach my students the technique first and then we dive into whatever genre you would like to specialize in! As mentioned before, I use Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais to promote Body Mapping; kinesthetic exercises for you to "feel" when things click correctly, and home tools (such as a mirror, spoon, straw etc.) to use for added effectiveness in technique and musicality. Over the last 6 years I have taught well over 300 students and am proud to say have had students get full ride scholarships to a University on various performance/singing scholarships!
