Hello! My name is Briana and I am a voice teacher from New York City. I have trained in many styles of music and have traveled the world as a professional singer for over five years. I specialize in personalized singing lessons for students of all levels, from kids to advanced adults. My objective is to use my experiences as a singer to help you achieve your goals in a positive, relaxed, creative, and enjoyable environment. My tailored approach covers a wide range of subjects including Audition/Performance Preparation, Ear Training, Expanding Your Range, Pop/ Rock Techniques, Musical Theatre Singing, Harmony, Melody & Pitch, Breathing Techniques, and more. My teaching style focuses primarily on building your confidence as a singer through expressive, creative, engaging, and detailed instruction. By getting to know my students individually, I am able to create a tailored, special learning plan for their specific needs. I firmly believe in setting a solid foundation with getting our body or our “instrument” ready to go by using an array of physical warmups and breath work to get the student familiar with the proper way to breathe as a singer. Once that is established, I would work closely with the student to learn about their goals as an artist and incorporate a myriad of techniques and tools to cater to their individual learning style. My interactive, motivating, and creative lessons support students of all levels: kids, beginners, intermediates, advanced learners, and adults. I am excited to work together and help you find your voice!
