As a young piano tutor I have taught many kids. Being young is always an advantage for me to get along with the kids and teach them all about music. Piano is such a good way to express your emotions and love for music. With over 16 years of piano playing experience, I specialize in a wide array of subjects such as classical piano, music theory, and performance skills. I have taken Merit Levels and other global test. I am familiar with the procedures and standard of the tests and am able to give tips on how to perfectly pass with the highest honor. Not only that, I have also attended many performances and competitions. I have learned how to conquer stage fright and be able to calm yourself down whenever a performance start. It is also clear to me on what judges always wants to see during competitions. I can also help with music theory as it is one of the most crucial parts of piano levels. Along with sight reading and ear training, these skills are all needed to complete piano levels of the highest honor. If you believe that you don't want to take levels, having these skills are also really important when it comes to composing new music. I focus on details that makes your music playing perfect and beautiful to everyone's ear. I would love to hear young kids play pieces that they like and enjoy the art of music. My teaching approach focus on mainly technique enhancement, ear training, sight reading, progressive instruction, and providing progressive instructions. I want to make sure everybody has advanced basic skills set before moving on to advanced music sheets as it will be very helpful. I specialize in teaching students of all levels from beginners to advanced learners. I provide each student with their own piano plan with different teaching methods as everyone learn differently. From listening to looking, I'm able to provide all sorts of help to everyone as long as they are learning and understanding each step of the piano instructions given. I use two most important tools both online and offline. One of them being the metronome and the other the music sheet. A metronome is always a musicians best friend as it allows you to practice on different speed and correct mistakes made slowly. As music sheets are crucial before memorizing the piece. Each music piece can be purchased online or offline in book versions or pdf. With requirements or certain goals in mind, I'll be glad to help you reach the target goal with perfect precision. Not only that your piece and understanding of music will deepen with more lesson and more knowledge along the way.
