Priyanka Your chemistry tutor
My name is Priyanka, and I hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry. Over the years, I have discovered that my greatest strength lies not only in understanding chemistry as a subject, but also in making it meaningful and engaging for my students. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry, while my teaching experience has allowed me to refine my skills in communication, mentorship, and classroom management. Together, these strengths shape my potential as a chemistry teacher who can inspire, guide, and motivate students toward academic and personal success. From my earliest experiences in teaching, I realized that chemistry is often seen as a challenging and intimidating subject. Students frequently struggle with abstract concepts such as molecular structures, reaction mechanisms, or balancing equations. My role as a teacher is to break down these complexities into simple, relatable explanations. I use real-life examples—like the chemistry of food, household cleaning agents, or environmental issues—to show students that chemistry is not confined to textbooks but exists all around them. Having completed a Master’s degree in Chemistry, I bring strong subject expertise into my teaching. This allows me to go beyond surface-level explanations and provide students with deeper insights into the principles of chemistry. I can confidently handle advanced topics, design experiments, and answer complex questions, which builds trust and respect in the classroom. My academic training also gives me the ability to introduce students to the applications of chemistry in industries, medicine, research, and environmental science.

Chemistry class overview
Another important potential I bring as a teacher is my ability to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Chemistry is not about rote memorization; it is about understanding patterns, applying logic, and drawing conclusions from evidence. I encourage students to think independently, analyze experimental data, and connect concepts across different topics. For instance, while teaching chemical bonding, I guide students to predict properties of compounds and link their observations to real-world materials. This not only strengthens their academic performance but also develops life skills that are valuable in any field. Practical teaching is another area where I excel. My laboratory training during my master’s degree allows me to design and conduct experiments that are safe, engaging, and educational. I believe that chemistry comes alive in the lab, where students can see theories transform into observable results.
