Structured Music Lessons Designed for Growth and Mastery, Guiding Students Toward Technical Excellence and Artistic Expression

As a vocal and piano coach, I have guided students at different stages of their musical journey, helping them prepare for examinations, competitions, and live performances. In recent years, I have embraced virtual teaching by creating structured online lessons and providing follow-up materials to ensure students can continue learning effectively. Online education has become an essential tool for making music lessons accessible to those who may face geographical or scheduling limitations. With more than two decades of experience as both a performer and a music teacher, my journey in music has been defined by passion, dedication, and a desire to inspire others. My musical background is rooted in classical training, enhanced by seven years as a vocalist/keyboardist in a cover band and four years as a musical theater actress. These experiences allowed me to explore various genres and performance settings, shaping my understanding of music as both a technical discipline and a universal language of expression.

In voice lessons, I blend classical technique with contemporary vocal styles to build healthy, versatile voices. I focus on breath support, tone production, vocal placement, diction, and musical interpretation. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals whether it’s for performance, examinations, or personal growth. I incorporate ear training, sight-singing, and repertoire building, and encourage expression and confidence through performance-based practice. In piano lessons, I use a structured approach that combines music theory, technique, and repertoire. I emphasize proper posture, hand positioning, and note-reading from the beginning. As students progress, we explore more advanced musicality, including dynamics, phrasing, and stylistic interpretation. I adapt my methods based on the student’s age, pace, and learning style, integrating games or creative exercises when appropriate especially for younger learners. For both disciplines, I teach online using a well-organized format that includes live instruction, digital resources, and personalized follow-up materials to reinforce learning between sessions.
