Rodel - Your piano teacher
“My name is Rodel Baldapan, but my students fondly call me Sir Rodz. I am a licensed professional teacher and also a passionate musician who has dedicated my time to helping learners of all ages discover the joy of playing the piano. I have teaching experience in both academic subjects and music, and through the years I have guided students ranging from beginners to more advanced learners who want to improve their skills. My teaching style is patient, step by step, and encouraging, because I believe that every student has a unique pace and potential. I always make sure that my lessons are not only focused on developing proper technique and note reading, but also on making music enjoyable and meaningful. My goal as a teacher is to help my students build confidence, develop discipline, and cultivate a genuine love for music that will stay with them for a lifetime. I am excited to share my knowledge, inspire growth, and create fun learning experiences with every student who chooses to learn piano with me.”l love for music.”

“My teaching methodology is centered on patience, encouragement, and step by step guidance. I believe that every student is unique, so I make sure to adjust my lessons according to their individual needs, goals, and pace of learning. For beginners, I start with basic note reading, rhythm exercises, and proper hand positioning, while gradually introducing simple songs that build confidence. For more advanced learners, I focus on refining technique, interpretation, and musical expression. I use a balance of traditional methods and creative activities to make lessons engaging and enjoyable. I also encourage students to explore music they love, because motivation grows when they feel connected to what they play. I integrate listening, sight reading, and performance practice into my lessons to develop well rounded skills. My ultimate goal is not only to help students become skillful pianists, but also to inspire them to develop discipline, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.”
