Hi! My name is Miguel Angel, and I am a professional tutor with more than five years of experience teaching online. I like to travel to get to know how other people live, enjoy art, and trek the streets and nature. I practiced martial arts for many years and enjoy keeping active. I discovered my passion for chemistry and sciences early on. I have a Ph. D. degree in Chemistry from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, US and studied Biotechnology and Chemistry in my undergraduate career. I have worked teaching Chemistry and Biomedical sciences for more than fifteen years. I can help you with a range of subjects around Chemistry, including high school Chemistry (IB), Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Computational Biology. I have a flexible schedule and I'll like to hear from you about your specific needs. I can help with more than the classes and support you with exam prep, learning skills, as well as accountability if you are preparing a high stake exam like an entrance exam.

In the first meeting, I will ask you several questions to get to know your interests as well as your struggles with the subject. I will try to understand how you are doing with your fundamentals. We will work together to establish the class frequency required based on your personal goals. If you need it, I can assign you additional problems to work. Many of my students have prepared ahead of time when they anticipate a challenging class or exam. This is one of the best approaches, to be consistent with the classes and don´t leave the tutoring for the last week. I will support you with interactive classes where you will solve many excercises and questions as we work along with the material. You can share with me any class material that you may want to review as well as the syllabus or topics to plan ahead. I prefer to receive any class request or rescheduling at least 12 h ahead of time. This will allow us to plan our schedules and be better prepared for each session. See you soon!
