Singing with with your Heart with Tutor Jart: Singing Lessons and Confidence Building

I am a graduate of the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health, and a Master of Arts in Education, major in Physical Education. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher in both the Philippines and the state of Wisconsin, USA. Recently, I completed an exchange program in the United States as the Choir Director of Pittsville School District in Wisconsin. With 12 years of experience as an educator in both private and public schools, I have taken on various responsibilities and opportunities in the teaching profession. These include supervisory practices in teaching and learning (as a certified online teacher), administrative duties as the Head of Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health (MAPEH), and the management of artistic and athletic activities. I consider myself an aesthete, with a deep appreciation for the arts. I have visited renowned institutions such as The Met, the Guggenheim, and MoMA in NYC and National Gallery, Victoria and Albert and the British Museum in London. I am also a passionate fan of musical theater, frequently watching productions in the Philippines. One of my most memorable experiences was watching the 20th Anniversary run of Wicked on Broadway, a performance that deepened my admiration for the power of storytelling through music and stagecraft.

My teaching style focuses on motivating and engaging students while building the foundations such as harmony, musicality, and confidence through various techniques in performing arts. Specializing in Movies, Jazz, Pop, Rock and Classical, I essential tools like video platforms, music apps, and online resources to create engaging and personalized tutoring experiences. With a curriculum tailored to each student's needs, I have successfully taught students ranging from kids to adulsts at different level of expertise, including beginners to advanced singers. My approach emphasizes a supportive and encouraging environment, fostering growth and skill development in each student's vocal journey. On a personal note, I have a dog, six cats, and a pond with eight Japanese koi fish. I also enjoy cultivating bonsai plants, baking, cleaning, and giving massages to family and friends. For me, serving others is therapeutic and brings me great happiness.
