Esteban - Get to know your vocal coach
Hello there, my name is Esteban Noguera and I am a musician. I hold a master's degree in music with an emphasis on arrangements from El Bosque University (Bogotá), a degree as a composer for audiovisual media (film, television and videogames) in "Escuela EMMAT" and I'm currently studying for a master's degree in music production. Due my formation, I completed six semesters of popular singing at the university, giving me experience in choral groups, as well as in traditional Afro-Latin music, pop, rock, blues and jazz ensembles; both in an academic level as well as a professional. I also bring expertise in other array of subjects like harmony, improvisation and music theory. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, and regardless of your age my personalized approach enhances your vocal skills, makes you aware of your vocal range and teaches you the correct way to take care of your voice. Would love to be your teacher.

Singing lessons highlights
In my classes, I get to my students level, meaning I try to see how much do they know about singing, depending on that, I ask them about the goals they have with the clases and work my way around them, this is very helpful for a wide range of ages and beginners and intermediate students. It also helps me if the student is interested in other areas like, music theory or harmony. The methodology used in the singing class is based on a solid academic background and extensive practical experience in the field of popular music, with a comprehensive approach that encompasses technical, interpretive, and stylistic aspects. The pedagogical approach seeks to develop a versatile and conscious voice capable of adapting to various musical genres such as jazz, pop, rock, and traditional Colombian music from the Pacific, Caribbean, and Llanos regions. The class is structured around the following pillars: 1. Vocal Technique: Proper sound emission is worked on through exercises focused on: Costo-diaphragmatic breathing. Vocal support and projection. Body alignment and muscle relaxation. 2. Repertoire and Performance: A varied repertoire is selected to allow students to explore different styles, with an emphasis on: Jazz, pop, rock, and traditional Colombian music. Vocal accompaniment with basic notions of arrangements. Stylistic and interpretive analysis according to the musical genre. 3. Aural and Rhythmic Training Rhythmic sense and metric subdivision. Melodic and harmonic tuning. Recognition of musical structures and chord progressions.
