I’ve been teaching singing for over 4 years, and I love helping people discover what their voice can really do. In our lessons, we’ll work on breathing, pitch, ear training, and fun body exercises to get your core engaged and your voice feeling strong. Every class is personalized for you—whether you’re into pop, jazz, or anything in between, we’ll focus on the music you love while building solid technique. My goal is to make learning feel supportive, inspiring, and confidence-boosting, so you can sing with freedom and express yourself fully. I create a friendly, encouraging space where mistakes are part of learning, and progress is celebrated. My background in studying music has given me a deep understanding of the processes involved in singing, and how small details can make a big difference in your voice. I believe in making learning practical and enjoyable, breaking down technique into clear steps so you can see real progress.

Andrea and Jack engaged in a vocal lesson where they delved into the technical foundations of singing, specifically covering breathing, phonation, resonance, and articulation. For his homework, Jack was tasked with analyzing a song's lyrics, paying close attention to vowels, breath pauses, and phrasing to sharpen his ear training and deepen his understanding of the song's interpretation. Their discussion also touched upon Jack's upcoming travel plans to Germany and potential scheduling adjustments.

Andrea guided Kai through vocal warm-ups and the application of core engagement to singing, specifically focusing on a segment of 'Part of Your World.' Kai diligently practiced vocal exercises and core engagement techniques to enhance his strength and articulation. For their upcoming lesson, Andrea tasked Kai with actively listening to the original song, paying close attention to its melodies and dynamics.

Andrea and an individual worked on vocal techniques, breath control, and posture to improve their singing. The learner, who resides in the Stop Six neighborhood, practiced 'Hallelujah,' focusing on hitting high notes and transitioning between vocal ranges. Andrea assigned homework including daily lip trills and finding new songs to work on, and will send a piano backing track in a lower key for 'Hallelujah'.

Andrea led a vocal lesson with a learner from Alden Bridge, focusing on vocal exercises, breath control, and song analysis for 'Treason' and 'Loveless.' The learner practiced lip trills and vocal warm-ups to enhance breath support and vocal cord flexibility. For homework, Andrea assigned daily lip trill practice while singing in the shower and printing the lyrics for both songs for deeper analysis.

Andrea and Ezrin dedicated their recent vocal lesson to enhancing Ezrin's confidence and expanding her vocal range. During their time together, Ezrin engaged in various vocal exercises, including lip trills, breathing techniques, and experimenting with different vocal qualities to foster versatility. As follow-up, Andrea assigned lip trills for homework and requested Ezrin to select a song for their upcoming lesson.

Andrea and Kai collaborated on vocal techniques, focusing on posture, breath control, and vocal placement to enhance Andrea's singing, particularly in her higher range. During their lesson, they practiced exercises using the song 'Part of Your World' and explored different vocal dynamics. Kai was encouraged to experiment with these techniques while practicing the song and to find an uptempo piece, possibly from *Annie* or *Matilda*, for future lessons.
