Singing lessons highlights
In my lessons, I focus on building a strong vocal foundation through warm-ups, breath control, and technique exercises tailored to each student’s unique voice and goals. We work on a variety of material—musical theatre, pop, rock—with an emphasis on emotional connection and storytelling from an acting perspective. I also offer audition prep, guiding students in song selection, interpretation, and performance with confidence and authenticity, while helping them develop their own artistic voice. Above all, I strive to create a safe, encouraging space where performers of all ages can grow, take risks, and build lasting confidence in their voice and artistry. Helping singers discover their passion for performing and watching that spark turn into self-belief is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I meet each student where they are, nurturing not just technical growth but also personal expression, joy, and resilience onstage and beyond. Whether it’s their first lesson or their hundredth audition, every voice deserves to be heard and celebrated.

Jilly - Get to know your vocal coach
I’m a vocal coach and performer with a deep love for helping singers find their voice—both technically and artistically. I trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City and went on to teach voice and musical theatre performance at Take A Bow Playhouse, where I helped students develop stage presence, vocal strength, and emotional connection to their material. My performance background includes fronting a rock band and appearing in a wide range of musicals, including Cabaret, Beauty & the Beast, A Tribute to Judy Garland, and more. With experience spanning both theatrical and contemporary styles, I’m able to guide singers through everything from pop phrasing to character-driven storytelling and audition prep. Whether you're prepping for a role, working on your range, or simply looking to build confidence in your voice, I create a supportive, personalized environment that meets you where you are—and helps you grow into the performer you’re meant to be.

Singing concept taught by Jilly
Jilly conducted a lesson with Anthony, guiding him through posture, breathing, and vocal warm-up exercises such as lip trills, humming, and vowel shaping. They also engaged in ear training and vocal sirens before moving on to a song, where the focus was on enunciation, rhythm, and pitch. Anthony will continue refining the song and practicing pitch in their upcoming lesson, in addition to exploring more beginner exercises.
