Biology Tutor Specializing in Human Anatomy: Interactive, Inspiring Lessons

I am Sarah Jane Canono, a registered nurse for 15 years. I got my Master's Degree recently and I am currently connected to an Academic Institution here in the Philippines. I have been teaching anatomy and physiology for around 5 years already and I am handling students from different levels. I also teach other subjects such as Surgery and Med-Surg. I am an ICU/OR nurse and I believe this will be an edge as a tutor because other than the slides that I have, I can always share to you my experiences related to the topic being discussed. It is my duty as a teacher to help my students love the subject. Students often love me because of my ability to make things simple and understandable. I can give time to ask questions, express curiosities, give home works, exams and even teach you the basic test taking strategies. I am comfortable of different academic needs, I ensure every student excels. Let's embark on this learning journey together for a brighter academic future.

I believe that Anatomy and Physiology is a tough subject for those medical students. However, my goal as a teacher is to help the students love the subject. To work on this, my learning teaching style is fun and interactive. I use online resources, videos and digital whiteboards for my additional input. What is seen in my slides are just bullets so that students will be able to take down notes base on my additional inputs which cant be seen on the slides. This is my way of encouraging them to listen. I also ask them questions and is very much willing to answer questions out from the student's curiosity. I believe this is very much important for the student to feel comfortable with the teacher so learning can take place. My strength as a teacher lies in adapting the approach that is effective and fun for the student and at the same time not tolerating leniency so they could still learn.
