My name is Tao Cunningham, and I am a dedicated and experienced piano instructor with a Master's degree in Piano Pedagogy and over 20 years of experience in teaching piano. In addition to being an instructor, I also have expensive experience as a collaborative pianist who worked with opera singers, vocalists and instrumentalists. My teaching approach emphasizes on structured approach by focusing on building strong technique foundation, understading musical theory, analying and interpreting classical repertoire. My approach also blends expressive musicality with performance coaching, This method typically involves learning to read sheet music, understand musical notation, and interpret musical scores accurately. Student will understand invervals, building chords and its inversions, understand and ability to play chord progressions. Student will develop strong finger technique, such as developing ability to play scales, arpeggios with speed and agility. as well as developing aural skills. Students progress through personalized curriculum that keeps them engaged and focused. My method emposers studnets to master piano skills effectively while enjoy the learning process.
