My 15-year journey as an ESL teacher began long before the classroom. At seven, I was completing my dad's English homework, then translating songs for friends or watching movies like Terminator, Kindergartner Cop, Mad Max and even Ben Hur! My passion for teaching professionally ignited at a school so vibrant, we decorated for Valentine's and St. Patrick's, and hosted legendary Halloween nights! From Brazil, where I taught seniors "holiday English," to the UK, I've tutored KS1, KS2 and GCSE students and recently I've developed and delivered many ESL and English for IT at the local Refugee and Migrant Centre. My focus is always on connecting with students, understanding their unique needs, and tailoring lessons to help them achieve their goals. It's about empowering you, learners of English, to truly unlock their potential.

My teaching methods are an exciting blend of innovation and adaptability, designed to create a truly unique learning experience, and allowing me to develop a tailored learning journey. I leverage a wide array of tools, seamlessly integrating technology like Canva for engaging visuals and Microsoft Teams for collaborative communication. Complementing these are resources from Skills Workshop and a variety of other digital and analog tools. This diverse toolkit allows me to cater to visual, auditory and even kinesthesic learning styles. For that reason, keep lessons fresh and stimulating. Whether it's through interactive online activities or hands-on practical exercises, my goal is to make every session dynamic, relevant, and effective, empowering students to actively participate and excel in their English learning and ultimately, mastering, journey.
