Hopez and Jeff worked on vocal warm-ups using solfège, explored chest, neck, and head voices, and practiced "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to differentiate vocal registers. Jeff received breathing exercises to improve vocal support and was assigned Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" to practice for the next session, focusing on tempo and structure.

Hopez worked with Samuel on vocal exercises, pitch correction using the solfège scale, and breath control techniques. Samuel practiced "Mountain of Mourn," focusing on tempo and adding personal expression, and began learning "American Pie," concentrating on breath support and pitch accuracy. Samuel was assigned to continue practicing both songs, focusing on expression and breath control, and to learn the first two verses and chorus of "American Pie" for the next session in two weeks.

Hopez worked with Samuel on improving his rhythm, timing, and breath control while singing "Mountains of Mourne." Samuel practiced singing with a metronome and clapping to maintain a consistent beat and was encouraged to add his own embellishments while staying in time. Samuel was assigned to practice the song throughout the week, focusing on timing, embellishments, and breath control, and to also explore incorporating his head voice.
