Singing lessons highlights
My teaching style blends technique, creativity, and confidence-building. I start by understanding each student’s goals, voice type, and experience level. From there, I tailor lessons using ear training, breathing exercises, pitch control, and vocal warm-ups that actually work. I break down music theory in simple, usable ways, and focus on unlocking real-world skills — from harmonizing to performing live. Whether we’re mastering riffs or building tone, I keep sessions practical, fun, and student-led. Progress is the goal, but expression is the heart. I believe in the duality of skill and emotional connection, I feel with singing one can't go without the other, so I like to make time for that section of singing. I encourage students to record themselves, explore tone, and track growth. We build strong habits, real skills, and a fearless, unique voice

Singing concepts taught by Titomi
The Student and Tutor discussed and initiated a new structured vocal warm-up routine designed for independent practice using a recorded session. They worked through a series of breathing, jaw, and tongue relaxation exercises, along with advanced vocal techniques for sound production and register transitions. The Student practiced these techniques while singing a song, and future lessons will continue to build on this structured approach.

The Tutor and Student focused on a comprehensive vocal warm-up routine and began working on the song "Fly Me to the Moon." They practiced breathing techniques, jaw and tongue stretches, and precise vowel enunciation. The Student was assigned to practice the recorded warm-up routine daily in front of a mirror, paying close attention to mouth shapes and exaggerating vowel sounds, and to listen to Frank Sinatra's performance of the song.

The Student and Tutor engaged in a comprehensive singing lesson, starting with physical and breathing warm-ups. They practiced vocal exercises focusing on range, vowel sounds, cord closure, and articulation, identifying the Student's current vocal range. The session culminated in applying newly learned techniques to sing "Fly Me to the Moon," with an emphasis on identifying and maintaining the correct octave and tempo. For homework, the Student is to practice singing along to the original song, focusing on tempo and vocal imitation, and for the next lesson, they need a device to record vocal exercises for independent practice.
