Singing lessons highlights

My teaching style blends technique, creativity, and confidence-building. I start by understanding each student’s goals, voice type, and experience level. From there, I tailor lessons using ear training, breathing exercises, pitch control, and vocal warm-ups that actually work. I break down music theory in simple, usable ways, and focus on unlocking real-world skills — from harmonizing to performing live. Whether we’re mastering riffs or building tone, I keep sessions practical, fun, and student-led. Progress is the goal, but expression is the heart. I believe in the duality of skill and emotional connection, I feel with singing one can't go without the other, so I like to make time for that section of singing. I encourage students to record themselves, explore tone, and track growth. We build strong habits, real skills, and a fearless, unique voice

During a vocal lesson, Titomi guided Keith through exercises and techniques aimed at refining his breath control, enunciation, and the incorporation of vocal riffs into the song "Style." Keith actively worked on exaggerating his mouth movements and varying syllable lengths to elevate his performance. For their upcoming lesson, Titomi tasked him with continuing his vocal exercise practice and selecting a new song, which he will record himself singing.

Titomi led a vocal lesson with a learner from Cicero, focusing on vocal warm-ups, breath control, and expanding their vocal range. The lesson emphasized diaphragmatic breathing and transitioning into head voice to avoid strain. The individual practiced exercises to improve breath support and vocal technique. Titomi assigned homework to continue practicing the exercises, stressing proper technique and avoiding tension, and encouraged them to believe in their talent and approach practice with a positive mindset.
