Singing lessons highlights
My teaching style blends technique, creativity, and confidence-building. I start by understanding each student’s goals, voice type, and experience level. From there, I tailor lessons using ear training, breathing exercises, pitch control, and vocal warm-ups that actually work. I break down music theory in simple, usable ways, and focus on unlocking real-world skills — from harmonizing to performing live. Whether we’re mastering riffs or building tone, I keep sessions practical, fun, and student-led. Progress is the goal, but expression is the heart. I believe in the duality of skill and emotional connection, I feel with singing one can't go without the other, so I like to make time for that section of singing. I encourage students to record themselves, explore tone, and track growth. We build strong habits, real skills, and a fearless, unique voice

Singing concept taught by Titomi
Titomi and Sue focused on vocal exercises to connect Sue's head and chest voice, and worked on rhythm and tempo using a metronome while singing "Lighthouse". Sue was assigned homework to practice the vocal exercise on a virtual piano, starting on F3 and ascending to E4, and to practice singing with a metronome at 85 and 100 BPM, emphasizing body movement on beats two and four. Sue was also asked to film herself singing to check her mouth opening.

The following is a summary of a lesson. Titomi worked on vocal techniques, breath control, and projection with a singer from Mission Valley, using exercises and songs like "Rawhide" to improve their singing. They began learning "Fly Me to the Moon" to showcase the individual's baritone voice and prepare for auditions. For homework, the learner was instructed to listen to "Fly Me to the Moon" before the next lesson to familiarize themselves with the song.
