I'm Taylan Oliver, a seasoned online tutor with over 10 years of experience in guitar lessons, I'm also a performing musician in theatre show, so I'm active in the in music industry. Armed with a Bachelor's degree, I offer expert guitar tutoring tailored for beginners. My teaching skills include chord progressions, rhythms, finger style and strumming. I excel in personalized learning, ensuring each student masters music theory, scales, Sight reading, Ear playing and other more advanced guitar techniques while enjoying a vast repertoire of songs. My approach is very progressive and I tend to let the student have free rain over the types of music and style they wish to play. I can teach up to grade 3 level and will always be happy to help develop students further if required. My approach tend to be very student led and I will always ask the student for their input when planning lessons and to keep them involved in the learning process. I try to teach both ear playing and reading skills to help the student have a broader skill set which tends to speed up there development. I'm always happy to change my approach if needed and will be flexible if the student needs extra help to learn any of topic areas.
