Piano concept taught by Bing
In a recent piano lesson, Bing guided Wards Of DOOM through note reading in the bass clef, where they practiced a song with a focus on playing and naming the notes. The musical concept of staccato was also introduced, and Wards Of DOOM worked on playing notes with the correct duration and detachment. For their next class, Bing requested that Wards Of DOOM ask their mom for the 'All in Two' edition of the book.

Bing guided Lauren through a comprehensive music lesson, focusing on the C major scale, including essential finger placement for both hands, which they diligently practiced. The lesson also marked the beginning of their work on 'Legato River Melody,' where they concentrated on note recognition across both treble and bass clefs. To support Lauren's continued practice, Bing shared a helpful link for reviewing the C major scale and its fingering.

Bass Clef Note Reading
Bing worked with a student from Fresno on note identification, utilizing a mini keyboard and bass clef notation. The learner practiced identifying single notes and note groupings, and focused on bass clef note recognition through mnemonics. For homework, they were assigned a bass clef chart to complete and tasked with locating their music book for upcoming lessons.

Note Identification Practice
Bing and a learner residing in Tampa reviewed music note reading on the treble and bass clefs, including identifying notes on lines and spaces. The student practiced identifying notes and began learning to play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on the piano, focusing on right-hand technique. Due to technical difficulties with sound, they decided to focus on note reading and address the audio issue in the next lesson.
