Singing concept taught by Erika
Erika guided Alexandra through vocal techniques, including breathing exercises, lip trills, and vowel placement, all aimed at enhancing her tone and breath control. During their lesson, Alexandra applied these singing techniques to the song "Pink Pony Club," concentrating on maintaining an open, supported sound. For future practice, Erika suggested working on five-note major scales using Jacob's Vocal Academy resources and drawing inspiration from Ella Fitzgerald's music.

During their recent vocal lesson, Erika and Alexandra delved into various singing techniques, including breath control, resonance, and legato articulation. Alexandra actively engaged in exercises aimed at improving her vocal space and explored vibrato. Erika also incorporated ear training, teaching Alexandra to differentiate between major and minor triads. For their upcoming lesson, Alexandra was tasked with selecting a song to practice and analyzing different singers' voices.

Erika guided Alexandra through a vocal lesson, focusing on essential techniques like breath control, core engagement, and creating space in the vocal tract. Alexandra diligently practiced exercises to improve her breath support, vocal resonance, and ear training by identifying intervals within a major scale. They then began analyzing 'Blackbird' by The Beatles, applying these concepts to the song.

Erika Torres worked with a learner on vocal technique, focusing on breath control, core engagement, and vocal warm-ups using scales. The individual, who resides in Oleander/Sunset, practiced applying these techniques to a musical theater piece. Erika suggested they practice sustained vocal exercises and slow down recordings of their song to internalize the melody.
